MEET THE FOUNDER
KATRENA R. HANKS
Founder and Principal
Katrena R. Hanks is a seasoned strategist, program leader and grants professional with more than two decades of experience helping organizations translate complex priorities into clear strategies, effective programs and measurable results.
Her career spans local and federal government, higher education, non-profit leadership and community and economic development. Across these sectors, she had built a reputation for leading multidisciplinary initiatives, strengthening organizational systems, cultivating partnerships and managing high-value programs.
Katrena holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the College of Charleston.
Through Hanks Strategy Group, she brings together the breadth of experience to help clients clarify priorities, secure and manage resources and move from strategy to execution.
